There is no doubt that inflation is a major concern on everyone’s mind. Consumers are feeling the pinch amid the highest increases in the cost of living for decades, exacerbated by geopolitical conflict, post COVID-19 supply-chain disruptions and the reactions of central banks.

 

In this session, LGIM will unpack the inflation story, examining what it means for investors and identifying some key considerations for financial advisers navigating this challenging landscape.

Tomorrow’s World: the future investment landscape looks very different - be prepared!

Sarasin & Partners consider how the landscape is changing for investment and regulation, what ‘double materiality’ means for investment advisors, and the dynamics of responsible investing in equities.

Legislation around obtaining the clients ESG preferences and client reporting following the introduction of SFDR for European Funds is fast approaching through SDR in the UK and IFAs need to know what is required of them to ensure they are meeting the Target Market rules.

 

We also explore Greenwashing and how to identify this at Manager and Fund level. We use multi media including video footage, questions for the audience and ask for Audience engagement.

A New Consumer Duty from the FCA. What is it? What does it entail? What do I need to do to comply? And When do I need to do it by? A whistle stop tour of the FCA’s new ‘Big Reveal’ with all of the tips and advice needed to ease you into the new regime. As a follow up to the session, attendees will also receive a guide to compliance with the new regulations.

Yes. If the Conference or session you want to attend is full, there are often cancellations so if you go on the waiting list it is likely you will be able to attend. Click on the ‘Book Now’ button above to go onto the Waiting List.

You can amend your registration details by logging into your Events profile. Click on the ‘My Events’ button to do so now.

It could be that you have entered your email address incorrectly or that you have switched to a new email address, or that for some technical reason your registration failed. Please contact the Personal Finance Society Conference office at regionals@thepfs.org and we can check your records.

At the present we are not able to automatically upload the CPD records, but we hope to be able to offer that service in the near future.

Please also note that you MUST sign in at the Conference for all sessions you attend in order for the Conference Office to validate your attendance.

You will be able to download your CPD Certificate from the PFS website after the event, and will receive an email within 48 of the event with the link to download your CPD certificate.
