We have been closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation and evolving government advice, so after much consideration we have decided that we will be unable to deliver the Personal Finance Society’s normal programme of regional CPD in quarter three and quarter four in the face of the ongoing global pandemic. Our priority must remain the wellbeing of our staff, members and the clients they serve.
However, this has presented us with an opportunity to offer an enhanced digital CPD live programme for members for the remainder of 2020. This will include our usual range of high quality, business relevant topical CPD as well as content dedicated to specialist planning.
In November we are also planning a limited series of face to face Investment Roadshows to give members the opportunity to better understand the emerging global economic impact of Covid-19 and understand how this may influence investment decisions. Venues will be carefully selected to minimise any health risks and accommodate prevailing government advice.
Members will also get access to our ongoing programme of POWER content, which includes articles, webinars and video content dedicated to financial planning skills and techniques.
This blended programme of mainly digital but interactive content, together with a limited return to physical events will help to ensure that members can stay safe, informed and remain connected to the wider profession during these challenging times.
We will provide full details to members and open registration for these events shortly. In the meanwhile if you have any questions or concerns please get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
