A full day of 5 topical speakers from Family Investment Companies, Cash Flow Modelling, AI within Financial Advice, Market Tremors and Tectonic Shifts, & Soft Skills Session.

* Sam Goodway - Fidelity International. Market Tremors and Tectonic Shifts

In this presentation, we will embark on an exploration of the shifts experienced by investors in recent years and explore why these shifts seem to be occurring at an ever faster pace.  We’ll ask are we in an AI bubble, look at the political situation at home before exploring the global investment landscape.  As we transition to the contemporary landscape, we’ll  identify recent changes in the world order, challenge the current status quo of American exceptionalism before rounding out with a look at the opportunities of the future.

* Michaela Pashley FPFS PoFP - Practical Financial Exams Limited. The Maths Behind the Models: How Cashflow Modelling Works.

While packaged cashflow modelling tools appear to have won the market over, it is essential that Financial Planners understand what's going on 'behind the scenes', both when producing a cashflow model for testing the achievability and sustainability of a plan, and when producing and evaluating a numerical capacity for loss figure.

* Steve Howell. Acadia Group. Full session on Family Investment Companies.

* Peter Thompson - Focus.
